Lawrence Kudlow is host of CNBC's "Kudlow & Company," which airs nightly from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. He is also the host of "The Larry Kudlow Show" on WABC Radio on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Mr. Kudlow is a nationally syndicated columnist. He is a contributing editor of National Review magazine, as well as a columnist and economics editor for National Review Online. He is the author of "American Abundance: The New Economic and Moral Prosperity," published by Forbes in January 1998.
He is a Distinguished Scholar of the Mercatus Center at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia.
Mr. Kudlow is CEO of Kudlow & Co., LLC, an economic and investment research firm.
For many years Mr. Kudlow served as chief economist for a number of Wall Street firms. He was a member of the Bush-Cheney Transition Advisory Committee. During President Reagan's first term, Mr. Kudlow was the associate director for economics and planning, Office of Management and Budget, Executive Office of the President, where he was engaged in the development of the administration's economic and budget policy.
He is a trusted advisor to many of our nation's top decision-makers in Washington and has testified as an expert witness on economic matters before several congressional committees. He has also presented testimony at several Republican Governors Conferences.
Mr. Kudlow began his career as a staff economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, working in the areas of domestic open market operations and bank supervision.
Mr. Kudlow was educated at the University of Rochester and Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He is an avid tennis player and golfer. He and his wife Judy live in New York City and Redding, Connecticut.
Susan Varga is Chief Operating Officer of Kudlow & Company. Susan has worked directly with Lawrence Kudlow since June, 1997.
She began at American Skandia Investment Services in Connecticut as the Manager of Research Administration while Mr. Kudlow was Chief Economist. Susan continued with him at Schroder & Co. in New York as Assistant Vice President, Economics while Mr. Kudlow was Chief Economist and Managing Director. Most recently, she was Associate, Economics and Investment Strategy at ING Barings in New York, while Larry was Chief U.S. Economist and Managing Director.
From 1992 to 1997, Susan was the personal appearance and lecture coordinator for Martha Stewart at Martha Stewart Living offices in Westport, Connecticut. Ms. Varga graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BS in Finance. She has two children and lives in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Dan Holland is Vice President of Research & Sales at Kudlow and Company. His primary responsibilities include conducting economic and political research as well as collaborating with Mr. Kudlow on various written assignments.
He joined the Kudlow team after graduating from New York Law School.
During law school, Dan clerked for a federal judge in Massachusetts and worked as a summer associate at Rucci, Burnham in Darien, Connecticut.
Mr. Holland graduated from Vanderbilt University with a BA in English.
John Park is the Economics Analyst at Kudlow and Company. He is responsible for supplying the research team with detailed analytical charts and tables, as well as economic and stock market analysis that is seen throughout all Kudlow research.
He was an economist for Sanwa Securities prior to joining Mr. Kudlow at Schroder & Company.
John received a BS in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech and an MA in economics from University of Virginia.
